  • Not from the downloaded file — the pages are gone from it. Your original PDF is untouched though: nothing here modifies the file you started with, it builds a new one. Keep the original until you have checked the result.

What happens to the pages you keep

Nothing. The remaining pages are copied into a new document unchanged, so text stays selectable, images keep their resolution, and the file size drops roughly in proportion to what you removed.

Deleting versus extracting

Deleting keeps everything you did not select. Extracting keeps only what you did. They are two ways of describing the same edit — use whichever needs fewer taps for your document.
